This cloud made of tasty dough both looks and tastes delicious.

Pisi is the perfect companion to the wide variety of breakfast items generally placed on a Turkish table. Do be mindful of how many you eat though, as these things are packed full of calories :(

Ingredients

makes 15 breads

320 gr all purpose flour 225 ml lukewarm water 1 tbsp dry yeast 1,5 tsp salt 2 tbsp oil for your hands

pot oil for frying Instructions 1. In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour and salt. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture, add the yeast and water. Mixing to dissolve the yeast first. Knead until a smooth and elastic dough begins to form. Grease the bowl with oil, place the dough, cover and let sit for about 1 hour or until doubled in size. 2. Heat a large pot oil. Divide dough into mandarin size balls. Well your fingers in oil. Flatten each dough out with your fingers. Fry both sides until golden brown for about 2-3 minutes over medium heat. Repeat with remaining dough.

Enjoy!
